Public bus: the cheapest option

The public bus is usually the cheapest way to travel from Burgas Airport to Sunny Beach, but it does not collect passengers directly outside the arrivals terminal.

The direct regional route towards Pomorie, Nessebar and Sunny Beach is Bus No. 10. Passengers normally board at the public transport stop beside the large airport roundabout, approximately 250 metres from the terminal.

Important: Bus 15 does not go to Sunny Beach

Bus No. 15 connects the airport and Sarafovo with Burgas South Bus Station.

Do not board Bus 15 if you want to travel directly north towards Sunny Beach. It is useful only if you plan to travel into Burgas and change to another bus at the main station.

The usual direct bus journey

1. Leave the arrivals terminal.
2. Walk approximately 250 metres towards the airport roundabout.
3. Find the northbound stop for buses towards Pomorie, Nessebar and Sunny Beach.
4. Check that the destination is Sunny Beach—not Burgas.
5. Travel to Sunny Beach Bus Station.
6. Walk or take local transport to your hotel.

Bus No. 10 follows the route Burgas–Sarafovo–Pomorie–Ravda–Nessebar–Sunny Beach. Published timetables can change, particularly outside the main summer season, so always check the latest schedule before travelling.

The bus may already contain passengers travelling from Burgas, and luggage space or available seats cannot always be guaranteed.
