Summer is moving quickly, but Sunny Beach is far from finished.

1. Walk Through Old Nessebar and Stay for Dinner

Old Nessebar should be at the top of every Sunny Beach visitor’s list.

The UNESCO-listed old town sits on a small peninsula filled with cobbled streets, traditional wooden houses, ancient churches, small shops and beautiful Black Sea views.

Visit during the late afternoon when the temperature becomes more comfortable. Walk through the old streets, stop for photographs and explore the quieter corners away from the busiest central route.

Stay for dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking the sea. Watching the light change across Nessebar Bay while enjoying fresh fish, Bulgarian food or a cold drink is one of the best ways to finish a summer day.

2. Visit Marina Dinevi Yacht Port in Sveti Vlas

For a more elegant and relaxed atmosphere, spend an evening at Marina Dinevi in Sveti Vlas.

Walk beside the yachts, explore the waterfront promenade and stop at one of the marina’s restaurants or cafés. The combination of sea views, boats and the mountains behind Sveti Vlas makes this one of the most attractive evening locations in the area.

Try to arrive during the late afternoon so you can walk around the yacht port before sunset and then stay for dinner or drinks.

4. Take on a Quad Safari

If relaxing beside the pool is not enough for you, head outside the resort and take control of an ATV.

The Quad Safari follows an off-road route through the countryside near Kableshkovo, covering approximately 22 kilometres with around one hour of driving. The experience also includes a panoramic stop with views towards Burgas Bay.

You can choose:

If you enjoy long walks, challenge yourself to explore the coastline between Sveti Vlas, Sunny Beach and Nessebar.

Start near Marina Dinevi in Sveti Vlas and continue towards Sunny Beach. Follow the coastal and beachfront sections through the resort, passing beaches, bars, hotels, promenades and quieter areas along the way.

At the southern end of Sunny Beach, continue towards Nessebar and finish the experience in the old town.

It is a long walk, and some sections require leaving the sand to use promenades or nearby streets. Wear comfortable shoes, carry water, use sun protection and avoid the hottest part of the day.

You do not have to complete the entire route at once. Walk one direction and return by bus, taxi or tourist train.

It is one of the best free ways to understand how Sveti Vlas, Sunny Beach and Nessebar connect—and you will discover parts of the coastline that many visitors never see.

After receiving operating instructions, you can spend your time cruising, swimming, fishing or relaxing with family and friends.

One, three and five-hour self-drive rentals are available, with fuel included in the standard rental price.

There is also an early-morning fishing option and a boat-with-captain option for visitors who prefer not to drive.

10. Meet the Camels at Camel Park

Finish the list with something you probably did not expect to find near Sunny Beach: camels.

Camel Park gives visitors the chance to meet the animals, learn more about them and feed them. Additional activities may be available on site, including camel riding, pony riding, karting, archery and airsoft.

It is an unusual and entertaining option for families, particularly those travelling with children.

Walk through Old Nessebar, have dinner beside the sea, visit Marina Dinevi, discover Michael’s Eco Bar, drive an ATV, spend a day on a jeep safari or relax aboard a catamaran.

The final weeks of summer can be one of the best times to experience the area. The weather is often still warm, the sea has retained the summer heat and the biggest crowds gradually begin to disappear.

Some excursions operate only on selected days and schedules may become more limited later in the season, so check availability before making your plans.
